Cirque du Monde - The social circus, an innovative model of social integration

In October 2015, at the Annual Conference in Québec City, CAPHC welcomed Dr. Patricia Garel, (Ste-Justine University Hospital Centre), Kim Archambault (Ste-Justine University Hospital Centre), Frédéric Loiselle (U de Montréal, CIUSSS Centre-Est-de-l’Ile-de-Montréal), and Gil Favreau (Cirque du Soleil) to share the wonderful story of Cirque du Soleil - Cirque du Monde, “A SOCIAL CIRCUS” as our Closing Keynote Session.

Cirque du Monde brings together many young actors from the field of the arts who have formed innovative and meaningful partnerships with healthcare and social intervention specialists, in a passionate, organized and creative way. For over 20 years, the Cirque du Soleil has worked to support and multiply these spaces combining art, health and well-being of thousands of youth all over the world.

In June 2016, Mr Frédéric Loiselle and his collaborators were awarded the bronze "Award for Innovative Management" from the Institute of Public Administration Canada (IPAC).

Félicitations à Monsieur Loiselle et toute son équipe de collaborateurs!
