Participants Wanted - Family Presence During Resuscitation

Researchers at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary are studying staff experiences with family presence during resuscitation. As many are aware, a major change has occurred in hospitals encouraging family members to be present during resuscitation of a patient. However, we currently lack awareness of what educational opportunities and policies exist across Canada to help facilitate this change. We are asking for your help in identifying the policies and educational opportunities currently in place in both our adult and children’s hospitals, as well as hearing about your experiences and opinions.

You are being asked to: Complete an anonymous online questionnaire.
The questions involve: 1) Your knowledge on policies and educational opportunities. 2) Your experiences and opinions on family presence during resuscitation.
How long will it take: Approximately 10-15 minutes.
Benefits: As a thank you, you will be entered into a draw to win one of three gift cards worth $300, $200, and$100.
